Speaker Bio
What is your greatest asset? You and your people. What are people’s greatest assets? Their strengths.
Is your job energizing? Is your workplace engaging? Do you get to do what you do best every day? You spend (or waste) too much of your time, energy, and talents from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. to be disengaged. Nearly 2/3 of Americans are not engaged in their jobs. The biggest culprits for disengagement include bad management, unmet workforce needs, and not using your strengths to do what you do best every day. Through our work together, whether it is one-on-one coaching, team training, organizational development projects, or keynote speaking, you will not only identify your talents but put them into action through the science of building habits. Applying strengths and increasing engagement will lead you to reach your desired outcomes.
My leadership role in pioneering and championing the vision of Kansas State University becoming a Strengths-based campus impacted the engagement, well-being, and retention of a campus of more than 28,000 students. My story is featured in the introduction of Gallup’s Clifton Strengths for Students book and highlighted in my Gallup’s Clifton Strengths Summit 2018 keynote with an audience of 1500.
“Kristen led my Leadership Greater Topeka class through strengths development and I realized that I better understood a number of people I had just met more than people I had been working with for more than a decade.” – Matt Deutsch, CPA, Director, Berberich Trahan & Co., P.A.
