Remarkably few students take the time to do self-assessments that identify personality, interests, skills and use those to identify better industries and careers that support their strengths. Marilyn will share with you the importance of identifying those skills and more importantly how to interpret them to help you rapidly advance your career.

Marilyn will show the importance of focusing on professional development.

  • You need to do some self-assessments ( Strengths, MBTI, Strong, etc) to identify what your brand is and how you differ from the competition
  • You need to identify your transferable skills that will appeal to the job targets you are trying to attract.
  • You need to launch a pro-active campaign with an effective pitch, resume, cover letter and LinkedIn profile. Networking is key.

This is a Leadership Development Company that uses the Clifton StrengthsFinder™ as the starting point to help individuals, managers and teams. My client’s list includes Yale University, Viacom, Martha Stewart, PepsiCo and Google. My Undergraduate and Master’s Degrees are from Cornell University in Counseling Psychology. I also have a Graduate Degree in Education from Boston University. I am certified in a variety of assessments including the Clifton StrengthsFinder™ and the MBTI.
