  • Prepare your son or daughter for college and their first job – launch them to success!
  • “Mom, no! You don’t know what I am going through!” or “Dad, you don’t get it! You can’t help me!”

If you are hearing these shouts of struggle from your kids, I am your first line of defense. I have been coaching teens, adults and work teams for over 25 years; however, launching kids through high school, onto college and then off to their first career is my specialty. I use a variety of tools to identify a young person’s best self – their strengths, personality traits, skills and natural abilities. We work together to develop individualized coping skills to navigate their young adult lives. To learn more, visit www.LaunchMyKid.net

I believe our children are capable of making choices, learning, recovering from disappointments, and taking action. However, sometimes we all could use more information, direction, support and expertise to help us meet our goals. That’s where a coach comes in.

My programs inspire mental resourcefulness and resilience by building natural strengths and talents through practice in real life situations. I help my clients practice coping skills by applying talents to master everyday activities – in classes, clubs, service projects, part-time work and internships. Through practice, they learn how to self-advocate by asking better questions, and they learn how to manage their weaknesses by problem-solving and learning to adapt. Finally, I help clients identify and explore their values and passions. You can learn to “Stay In Your Lane” through my vlog on YouTube at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UClCakfzFjcwuyB-myCr-qQg

I earned my B.A. in Industrial Psychology from Pennsylvania State University and M.S. in Group Process and Group Psychotherapy from Hahnemann University. I completed the Arizona Education Policy Fellowship Program at Arizona State University – a 10-month in-service leadership development program that emphasizes diversity and ethics. I became a Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach in 2016,
