Speaker Bio
Rob Feinstein is a pioneer in the online recruiting industry, a longtime software industry executive, and a former award-winning journalist. Through those experiences, he’s gained a unique understanding of the real world of today’s technology-driven employment marketplace from a hiring manager’s perspective.
He was vice president and general manager of MonsterTRAK, the college recruitment services arm of online jobs giant Monster.com. Prior, he was vice president of products at CareerPath, a consortium of newspaper publishers that combined to form one of the Web’s premier job search destinations and – under Feinstein’s direction – one of the Web’s largest and most deeply
searchable resume databases. Through those experiences, he has a deep network of employment industry contacts, particularly from companies who hire the most college graduates and college student interns, and directors of the campus career centers whose job it is to assure their students secure strong starts to their careers.
He holds a Master of Business Administration from the Amos Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College, a Master of Journalism degree from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism, and a bachelor of History from Brown University. He and his wife, Tara, live in Los Angeles, CA.
